favorite high-protein snack alternatives
that I find so incredibly essential for
staying on track with your diet we all
get cravings let's face it we're all
gonna crave some unhealthy type of food
if we can satisfy these cravings we'll
stay on track mathematically with our
calories and macros it's gonna help us
get to our goals that much faster so
these are some of the healthier snack
high-protein alternatives that I
personally use throughout my fitness
journey to help me stay on track because
I freakin love food and by finding
alternatives that taste very similar to
the unhealthier option it really just
helps me mentally stay into it and it
just keeps me that much more motivated
so if you're looking for some new snack
alternatives or just trying to increase
your overall protein intake I really

this video is about food oh yeah let's
give it to these high protein snacks
number one is gonna be for you mac and
cheese lovers muscle mac this is one of
my favorite high-protein snack
alternatives and it literally tastes
like crafts it's actually freakin crazy
and muscle mac also comes in the regular
cheddar and a white cheddar option and
it comes in two different storage
packages so you can put this one right
in the microwave if it's a lot more
convenient in my opinion and then this
one you actually have to cook but
there's a lot more actual mac and cheese
in this one so pick your poison but I
personally like the regular cheddar
option more but they do also have the
white cheddar option where you can just
put in the microwave like this as well
now the calories and macros for the
regular cheddar option are there are 410
calories 63 grams of carbs 20 grams of
protein and 10 grams of fat and an
entire containers are full serving and
it's actually a lot more quantity
it may look like this is gonna get a lot
of you full surprisingly and now into
the box version which right here is the
white cheddar option and one serving is
half a package of this there are 380
calories 53 grams with cards 20 grams of
protein and 9 grams of fat also a white
cheddar option is made with probiotics
in MCT oil so 20 grams of protein that
is a lot higher than any other mac and
cheese you'll find out there and of
course it's still gonna be high in carbs
it's mac and cheese so if you are a low
carb diet this isn't gonna be the option
for you but if you aren't too concerned
with your carbs and you crave some mac
and cheese this is a great snack
high-protein alternative number 2 is
gonna be for you beef jerky lovers this
is the Ostrom beef snack stick and
you're gonna be mind blown by the macros
on this and the calories the sweet and
spicy flavors my favorites I'm gonna
start with that one there are 90
calories only 2 grams of carbs 14 grams
of protein and only 2.5 grams of fat
yeah did you just hear those macros 14
grams of protein only 2 grams of carbs
and 2.5 grams of fat
well that's going to the other flavors
the natural flavors 80 calories 2 grams
of carbs 14 grams of protein and 1.5
grams of fat and the natural one is
actually my second favorite flavor and
then my third flavor flavor is the
pepper flavor and this one has 80
calories 2 grams of carbs 14 grams of
protein and 1.5 grams of fat those
macros and calories are freakin crazy
you're getting a ton of protein out of
such a low calorie rate that these are
such a great snack to have at the end of
the night to help fit your protein goals
I often find myself a little bit short
of my daily protein intake but my carbs
and fats are already up there so if I'm
not in the mood for a protein shake this
is a great alternative so just one more
quick time the sweet and spicy flavor
the natural flavor and then the pepper
flavor those are my top three favorite
flavors of the Ostrom beef snack stick
there are other flavors but I keep it
real with you railings and these are the
only three I like number three is gonna
be free ice cream lovers some night food
ice cream I am freakin obsessed with
these so I actually have stock in the
night food company so if you think I'm
gonna be biased I'm gonna tell you a
little story right now because that is
not the case I was a huge fan of halo
top ice cream now I parted with night
food
they actually came out with night food
snack bars in the whole point of the
company was help eliminate nighttime
cravings and that's why I really loved
the concept behind the whole brand and I
invested myself in it and then they came
out with ice cream and I was like
whatever I have halo top ice cream I eat
that all the time but then they sent me
these two flavors milk and cookie dough
cookies and dreams I was absolutely
shocked how good these tasted halo top
it tastes great no lie I loved halo top
I just didn't really find that it tasted
that much like regular ice cream but
then I had night food and it tasted just
like regular ice cream it was my glow
honestly because it has protein in it
too whoo and just for reference for you
aliens night food sent me a six-month
supply of their ice cream when it came
out and it lasted me two months I had to
order more just to make this video but
now let's get into the calories and
macros we'll start off with the milk and
cookie dough flavor and for another
reference there are four servings in
each one of these containers so the
serving amount is a quarter of the
actual container and if you're like me
you're gonna have that times these
numbers by four cuz you're gonna eat the
whole thing so the milk and cookie dough
flavored there are 90 calories in one
serving 17 grams of cards six grams of
protein and two grams of fat and then
the cookies and dreams flavor is
actually the same with 90 calories 17
grams of carbs 6 grams of protein and 2
grams of fat so this is a little similar
to the muscle Mac where it is still high
in carbs it's ice cream aliens but if
you times that by 4 that is 24 grams of
protein in just one container of ice

for you chip lovers in this quest chips
now I actually don't like quest bars but
the quest chips they're unbelievable and
you're gonna be mind blown by the
calories and macros we'll start off with
my favorite flavor BBQ there are 130
calories only 4 grams of carbs 21 grams
of protein and only 3.5 grams of fat
yeah you heard that right only 4 grams
of carbs for chips mm-hmm and my second
favorite flavor the nacho cheese there
are 140 calories 5 grams of carbs 18
grams of protein and
six grams of fat so the barbecue is a
little more macro friendly than the
nacho cheese but the national cheese
taste bomb and it's still high protein
low carb and then my third flavor flavor
is sour cream and onion and there are a
hundred and forty calories in this five
grams of carbs 21 grams of protein and
only four grams of fat and I don't just
love the questions because of the low
carb high protein if you're like me
bored eating can be a problem so being
able to just reach in a bag pull out a
chip eat it and know I'm staying on
track calorically and macro wise it
makes a huge difference
these questions have been an incredible
alternative for me when it comes to
bored eating and they even dip in the
guac sometimes for some extra goodness
remember five is gonna be for you aliens
who love your egg whites
yo muscle egg I found this stuff at the
Arnold this year I was just walking
around and then the booth muscle leg
it's like what the hell is that I ended
up trying some flavors and it is protein
flavored egg whites yeah I was fricking
mind-blown especially when I tried it
and I ended up ordering four gallons
immediately after it truly is
unbelievable you literally just drink
them you don't even have to cook them
you did you drink them and it's protein
egg whites flavored Wow
this flavor right here is chocolate but
my other favorite flavor is cake batter
I just finished that way too quickly now
the calories and macros in this are 120
calories 5 grams of carbs 26 grams of
protein and 0 grams of fat and one
serving is 1 cup there are sixteen full
service in the entire gallon yo low carb
no fat
26 grams of protein those are crazy good
calories and macros and it is so much
more convenient than regular egg whites
because you don't have to cook anything

cookies
I love these I've been eating these for
a long time now I have my two favorite
flavors here and then a different option
of a bag of little cookies here just
like with the questions the bag is a
great alternative for that bored eating
we'll start off with the regular cookies
we'll get into the macros of my favorite
regular chocolate chip now real quick I
want to make sure you have full
understanding of this because the
company does try to trick you in a sense
I feel like half a cookie is one serving
who the hell eats half a cookie
so whatever the numbers I read times
that bite
- and that is gonna be the full cookies
serving amount all right so one serving
half the cookie is 200 calories 33 grams
of carbs 8 grams of protein and 8 grams
of fat then my second favorite flavor
double chocolate I love my chocolate
half the cookie is 200 calories 31 grams
of carbs 8 grams of protein and 7 grams
of fat now remember these are snack
alternatives so these ones are still
high in carbs and they are a little bit
high in fat but they're a great way for
craving a cookie to get it cookie
satisfy that craving and get some
protein in there as well now onto the
bag by the way the cookies and the bag
are both vegan so the serving size for
the bag is 6 cookies and they're about
3.5 servings in this entire bag the
calories per 6 cookies are 170 there are
19 grams of carbs 6 grams of protein and
9 grams of fat so if you are bored
eating keep that in mind because there
are 3.5 service in the entire bag and if
you're like me you can go through an
entire bag very quickly just be aware of
that but remember we're talking about
snack alternatives to help you get some
more protein in to also help satisfy
those cravings so don't be too crazy
about it and cinnamon sugar is my
favorite flavor for these and number 7
is for you muffin lovers buddy both food
I love this this is the only flavor I
actually like it's chocolate peanut
butter but it is really good you just
put it in the microwave and boom you
have a muffin satisfy that craving one
serving is the entire container and the
calories are 240 there are 20 grams of
cards 20 grams of protein and 8 grams of
fat you literally get 20 grams of
protein from a frickin muffin and it
heats up in the microwave in 30 seconds
quick convenient bomb try it out number
8 is gonna be for you rice krispies
treat lovers
BSN protein crisps they're not like
protein bars they literally taste like
the same texture as rice krispies treats
which is why I love them so much these
are my two favorite flavors the vanilla
marshmallow and the peanut butter crunch
you know I like my protein bars they're
a great convenience snack but I get
really sick and tired of that solid
chewy texture these just bite right in
it doesn't take a lot of effort to chew
and they taste bomb the calories in
macros with a vanilla marshmallow flavor
230 calories 23 grams of carbs 20 grams
of protein and 6 grams of fat and then
the peanut butter crunch flavor is 230
calories 22 grams of carbs 20 grams of
protein and 7 grams of fat and the full
bar is one serving so if you're like me
and you get tired of that chewy solid
texture from normal protein bars these
Lily tastes like the same texture as
rice krispies treats they're delicious
I recommend try these out as an
alternative number 9 is gonna be for you
cake lovers optimum nutrition cake bites
I really like these they're very
different than your standard protein
bars then the BSN protein crisps bars
that I just showed you these living
tastes like little cake bites in it aka
the name my two favorite flavors are the
fruity cereal and the birthday cake
let's start off with the fruity cereal
which by the way is also gluten free
there are 240 calories 25 grams of carbs
20 grams of protein and 8 grams of fat
and then the birthday cake option which
I don't see labeled as gluten-free so be
careful if you have celiacs there are
240 calories 25 grams of carbs 20 grams
of protein and 7 grams of fat and one
special thing I do like about the cake
bikes is the serving amount is actually
one entire package but there are three
cake bites in there so once you finish a
protein bar it's gone when you finish a
cake bite you still got two more to go
ah yeah and number 10 is for you coffee
lovers the babe protein coffee now I
know Bing is kind of controversial right
now because the CEO got caught lying
about the standard bangs about having
creatine in there but having aminos in
there you know what I'm not gonna get
into that in this video but these are
protein filled so they still apply to
this video and they still taste bomb my
two favorite flavors are the heavenly
hazelnut and the cookies and cream craze
and make sure you know that these do
have caffeine in them and quite a lot
they're 300 milligrams of caffeine so
keep that in mind before you consume
them and let's start off with my
favorite the heavenly hazelnut which by
the way one can is one full serving
there are 140 calories 9 grams of carbs
20 grams of protein and 2 grams of fat
and then the cookies and cream craze is
a hundred and forty calories 11 grams of
carbs 20 grams of protein and 2 grams of
fat so if you're a fellow caffeine
addict and drink a lot of coffee these
really do
tastes great their protein pack so they
can be a great alternative to help you
get some extra protein in well you get
your coffee taste in and that caffeine
of course I just want to give a little
bonus 11 for those who love popcorn the
Icahn meals protein popcorn it's really
good but when I open up a bag I'm more
than likely I'm gonna finish that bag
and there are four servings in this
entire bag and that means if you have
all four servings 40 times four you have
a hundred and sixty grams of carbs just
by eating this one bag that's why they
included in my top ten this is a very
rare occasion if I'm like crazy popcorn
which I don't really crave that much but
these do taste really good now there's
school over the macros per one serving
which is a quarter of the bag and the
calories there are 272 calories 40 grams
of carbs 10 grams of protein and 8 grams
of fat so if you do eat the whole bag
you do end up getting 40 grams of
protein but like I said that is a
hundred and sixty grams of carbs so
that's a freaking ton that's way too
excessive for a snack in my opinion but
like I said people do crave that popcorn
so this is a way to help get that
protein in if that is one of your
cravings and this is the only flavor I
really like this it's the dark chocolate
sea salt so this can be a great snack if
you can restrain yourself but know
yourself because I can't so I hope you
